What's in the box

Have you ever wondered what comes in the Mother Goose Time curriculum box every month?
Let me show you what is in the March 2015 box.

This months theme is Blast off to space.

Every box includes 20 days worth of activities and art projects. This box contains everything you need for each lesson.  Each day is packaged separately so you can just grab and go. Every now and then you will need your own supplies or add ons. But they give you a list of extra's needed for each day so you will be prepared.

Each box includes a monthly calendar that matches the theme of the month and calendar numbers that form a pattern. Yes, every month has a new pattern. Patterns are important as a pre math skill.

There is also a Teacher guide with easy to follow lesson plans for each day. A Planning journal to add your own ideas for the day or to teach the topics in a different order.
A teacher bag includes the shape and color piece of the month and cardboard letters and numbers for many activities throughout the month. It also includes sight word and Spanish word cards for the month.

This months shape is the star. We were sent foam star shapes in multiple sizes and the color of the month-Yellow. It came with cards to sort into sizes and numbers. Numbers of the month 7 & 17.

This moths manipulative s are the foam stars and a fun moon balancing game.

There are also board games included in the lesson plans-and yes they are in the box.

I love this curriculum because it covers many levels of learning...Art, writing, sensory, technology, outdoor, library, block area, dramatic play, math, reading, & manipulative.

Each month, each child has their very own journal to work in and take home at the end of the month.
They also receive their own easy reader book that helps them learn sight words. Yes, they get to keep it.

Mother goose time curriculum also has more reading and more math books for older learners and a book to help make lesson plans easier for 2 year olds.

If you are interested in getting some religion added to it, they even have a daily lesson plan that covers bible stories.

If you want to add toys that go with the monthly theme, they even have those.

Yes, they have it all.
